Protect Your Crops from Onion Maggots
March 7, 2017 | Common Garden Pests
We’ve added another pest to our online Pest ID database…the Onion Maggot. Onion Maggots are particularly damaging to early season plantings like onions, garlic, turnips, radishes and cabbage. The larvae spend most of their time feeding in the soil, which means they are very susceptible to beneficial nematodes. The beneficial nematodes in our Scanmask products hunt down and kill onion maggot larvae. Treat in early spring with Scanmask and kill the onion maggots before they kill your crops!
And check out the Pest ID to learn more about many common pest insects and how to kill them with our beneficial nematode products.
