How to Kill Thrips with Nematodes

December 29, 2016 | Uncategorized

Western Flower Thrips are a common and destructive pest often found in greenhouses and gardens. Thrips feed on plant juices, and can cause stippling and fading and can act as a vector for serious plant diseases. The beneficial nematodes in Scanmask hunt down and kill thrips pupae in the soil which significantly reduces the thrips population. Just apply Scanmask to the soil of any affected plants and to any cracks or crevices in the foliage. There are thousands of species of thrips; beneficial nematodes are an effective control for Western Flower Thrips which are one of the most widely distributed and destructive species in the U.S.
